**PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE. THE TALK WAS POSTPONED FROM MAY 22ND TO JUNE 5TH. TIME AND LOCATION REMAIN THE SAME**

Jessie will present her paper 'Topographia and Topothesia: Memory and Testimony in a Croatian Landscape' on June 5th, 5pm, Seminar room SG2, Alison Richard Building. All are welcome to attend!

This is part of the CRASSH seminar series 'The Alchemical Landscape', which is a collaboration between the Faculty of English and the Department of Land Economy. It has two intersecting points of focus: the artistic representation of landscape as an uncanny if not haunted space, and the use of comparable ‘spectral’ language to speak about matters of environment, property and value.

Jessie will also present a paper on the virtualisation of material mediums of social memory at the 'Reflections on the Aftermaths of War and Genocide Symposium: Memorialisation Unmoored' conference, at Yale University on March 8-9th.
