The publications of the Centre for Urban Conflicts Research build on the research outputs of the ESRC-funded ‘Conflict in Cities’ project (2007-2013), as well as other projects led by UCR members.
The 'Conflicts in Cities’ project produced a range of publications including briefing papers, photo-essays, and working papers. Significantly, the project produced two edited books, Locating Urban Conflicts (2013) and The Struggle for Jerusalem’s Holy Places (2013) as well as two special issues: Conflict in Cities and the Contested State (2009) in the Jerusalem Quarterly and 'Religion, Violence and Cities' in Space and Polity (published in 2015 as a book).
