Biography:

Nadi Abusaada is a first year PhD Candidate in Architecture, and a Cambridge Trust Scholar, at the Centre for Urban Conflicts Research in the Department of Architecture.

Nadi holds an Honours B.A. (High Distinction) in Architecture from the University of Toronto in Canada, and an M.Phil. (Distinction) in Architecture and Urban Studies from the University of Cambridge in the UK.

Nadi's current research is focused on the relationship between commerce and the city in the Levant during the period of modernisation in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
